Betting Risk Notice
Last updated 6 October 2026
Betting involves a real risk of losing money. Please read this before you place a bet.
1. You can lose your stake
Every bet can lose. When a bet loses, the whole stake is gone. Over time most people who bet lose more than they win.
Odds show what a bet pays, not how likely it is to win. Accumulators pay more because they are much less likely to win.
2. Betting is not income
Betting is a form of entertainment. It is not an investment, a savings plan, or a way to pay debts or bills. Never bet with money you need for rent, food, school fees or other essentials, and never borrow to bet.
3. Keep control
Decide how much time and money you will spend before you start, and stop when you reach it. Do not chase losses. Do not bet when you are upset, tired, or have been drinking.
If you are worried about your betting, see our Responsible Gambling page or contact support and ask us to pause or close your account.
